What happened to Kate?
It was the first or second episode of this season,when Kate was made to shower and put on a dress. She had a breakfast with Ben at the beach and he said the next two weeks would be hell. Was she made to do -*test*-('")s to see if she could conceive? I hate to have this as a theory but is it possible she was rapped? She has not been acting like a victom would typically be,or she is doing a really good job of covering up.

I don't think Lost would have a rape storyline, I think the "2 weeks" was about her being captured or something. The writing at the beginning of season 3 was poor, a lot of things weren't clearly written, and I think this is one of them.

I thought the 2 week thing had to do with the hard labor they had to endure....breaking and hauling rocks. Then, her ultimately having to beg Jack to operate on Ben to save Sawyer.

Was Kate Sawyer Jack on the other Island for the full 2 weeks? or was this cut short by Jack using Ben as hostage for Kate and Sawyers escape. I wonder if there was other plans for Kate, Sawyer and Jack but it was cut short by an unexpected escape plan. Maybe this is why Juliette is on the beach... to take samples....didnt get them while Kate was captive.

I think they were suppose to be there 2-weeks but master manipulator Ben didn't get his way this time. I also think this is foreshadowing for his comment to Juliet that he will see her in 1-week. That meaning I don't think Ben is going to have a week to do whatever he was planning. He's involved in a situation he can't control but doesn't know it yet.

Okay so this was Bens ( or whom evers)way of getting Kate and Sawyer together,but when they put her in the cage her wrists were all messed up and Tom said he would get some antiseptic for her wounds,why did she have a struggle? WHY WHY!! (insert whiny brat) Thanks for all the positive feed back I love you all.I know there are not answers to everything yet but thanks for letting me wonder and ramble! :)

Kate and Jack, and also Kate and Sawyer, were hot and heavy about it, at various times. Sawyer alludes to fuller intimacy when she speculates that she might be pregnant, and he snarls "Let's hope not," or something like that, as I recall. Jack alludes to it when he declares "I love you" to her. Nothing in the end implies the baby, back on land, is really Jack's. Just that he still yearns for her, and maintains they were not meant to leave, and must go back, etc. A sideline (digression - sorry) note on this..... Did anyone notice that both Jack's EX-wife, AND Kate were BOTH VERY PREGNANT in the final ending "flash forward" scenes? What was THAT about? Point - everything in "Lost" is meant to imply something.

I didn't notice Kate was pregnant, but I haven't had the chance to do my re-watch yet. The actress that plays Sarah was pregnant in real life, so maybe the writers just decided to let her be filmed that way to tease us.She's also on Boston Legal, but they didn't write it into the show, we saw lots of shots of her from the neck up, sitting at desks, wearing big coats,etc.

Kate, at the ending.
Kate told Jack that she had to get back, that "he" would be wondering where she was. I have no proof, but I'm thinking that's Sawyer. Does anyone have any thoughts on that?
