Happy Not-Lost Day Everyone!!! Hope you are all having a wonderful week!! Half-way through and looking forward to a 3-day weekend!!! Can anyone explain how just a few days at work can make you feel like you haven't had a vacation in a long time? I have to keep reminding myself that I was gone all last week :lol: Rosered!! Good to see you honey. Glad you made it safetly back to school. Are you going to be able to get a sofa for your room? It would be nice to have a comfy place to sit!! Lou!! How was first day with the kids? Hope everything went smoothly for you. My vacation was fantastic!! I had a lot of fun and it was really relaxing. Usually it is tough staying with someone when you travel but this time everything went pretty good. Of course I was only there for 5 days and 2 of those were travel days. Plus I went out by myself on Thursday for a few hours which gave us all a break.

LNB the 1st day of school went very well,but then everyone's always good the first day-it's after that ,that the trouble starts :lol: I'm fine except for my aching feet,it takes awhile to get back into the routine.Sounds like you had a great vacation,and yes,after the 1st couple of days,it's like you never left. My Mom and sister were both teachers so I've heard a ton of stories about how things really are :shock: I give you a lot of credit, you have one of the toughest, unappreciated jobs there is. Sorry I haven't been posting,the beginning of the school year has been chaotic as usual,but things are starting to calm down into a routine at last.The only fly in the ointment is the new gradebook program on our server which is a HUGE pain in the tush. :help: Everyone-including me-hates it.I know,we'll get used to it, but that doesn't mean we have to like it. Hi everyone! Glad to hear your team won, lou, and that your first day went well. I'm into my second week of school and am already swamped with homework and all kinds of things. I've been doing homework for about five hours now, and am pretty much done now, which is lovely. I'm going to try to watch more Lost, because I really have nothing that sounds more fun, or more helpful in avoiding my homework, to do. My weekend was pretty bad because my cat died. She was very old, 15, and wasn't sick for very long and she got to die at home, but I've had her since I was five, and I will miss her very much. I'm glad that she didn't suffer, though. My mom planted a flower garden above her grave, so we'll always know where she's buried.

Rosered I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty.Our pets bring so much joy to our lives that losing them is indeed like losing a member of the family. The flower garden over the grave sounds like a lovely idea.I am a firm believer that when we reach heaven, all the pets we ever loved will also be there along with our human loved ones, to welcome us home. We're almost past the halfway mark! YAY!!! I'm just a little sad that all of the other shows I watch are starting and there is no Lost to fill my current Wednesday night TV void. I'm still rather busy with school. I had aobut 107 pages of reading for just ONE CLASS last weekend. It was 107 pages about Urban Planning. I am not a fan of Urban Planning. It's dull. Very, very dull. Me and my roommate have been watching Dr. Who for the past few weeks. I really like it. We just got to the end of season 2 and it was very, very sad. Thanks for all the kind words about my cat. She was a good kitty and I'll miss her.
