Hi everyone! Just finished the first half of my job and I have next week off so I get to relax and not chase small children around! YAY!!!!!!!! Also, I am nearly done with my soul-sucking biology course and then I am done with science for the rest of my life. :excite: I'll try to stop by more often and I'm trying to get on this whole rewatch thing, however, work and school and Harry Potter are currently running my life. I'll be pretty useless until August. Its been raining hard everyday here and I'm in a part of the world that is generally very, very dry. Its a bit confusing.

Me too!!!! It is a great movie :) Happy Not-Lost Day Everyone!! It is raining here, very heavily, very steadily. It has been for over 8 hours now. I can hear the parade we were going to watch but there is no way we are standing in a downpour to watch it!!! Keeping fingers crossed that the rain stops in time for fireworks!! Happy 4th of July America! :cake: :party: If you know a veteran or a soldier,don't forget to thank them. Many good men and women died for the rights we hold so dearly. I think our fireworks are going to be rained out this evening,Mother Nature is planning some spectacular fireworks of her own.We saw the usual 4th of July parade this morning, will barbecue this afternoon,although we may end up eating inside.Other than that,it's just a nice lazy,summer day.I always feel like it's the middle of vacation when the 4th arrives,in another month I'll be getting ready to go back to school..Uh oh, we just got the tornado watch warnings, so I will close for now and again wish everyone happy Independence Day ! :)

Happy weekend everyone! My company has finally left. It's one of those things where you're happy to have them come for a visit, you enjoy them while they're here, but then are happy to see them go.Now back to the housework projects.I'm working on the spare room/library/junk room this week.It sounds so pretentious to say I have a library,but what else do you call the room where you have 10 shelving units full of books ?I swear they are multiplying, I keep donating them and more reappear. I surely didn't buy all those books did I ?My late father used to say "If you're so darn smart, how come you're not rich?"I never found a satisfactory response to that ! :) Lou

Good Morning, Afternoon and Evening everyone! I had a good day yesterday, I had work, which was fun, came home, went to the pub and then came back and watched the wonderful film that is Fight Club.

LNB,another bibliophile!I knew there was another reason why I like you!It's an obsession,isn't it ? :laugh: On a more unhappy note, the big TV in the living room died last night. Now I have to go out and get another one.GRRRRR.I swear ,every couple of years I'm buying a TV and it really annoys me. I know it's planned that way,what you'd pay to get the darn things fixed,assuming you can find someone to fix them, is more than it would cost to go out and get another one.Really ticks me off though(take a deep breath Lou, this is not good for your blood pressure).
