Happy Wednesday All! Almost there....yeah! DS, how did your exams turn out? LNB, business is already going well, thanks! I do a lot of ebaying from home. Mostly tools, china and kid stuff...and anything I can find at a yard sale that I know I can make some money off of. LNB, YES! I find it fun! OK, gonna get geeky on all of you...bear with me :shock: You list your item, costs between 20 cents and 2 bucks depending on how much you list it for. It's on for a week and people bid on it. Once it's sold you pay 3.5% of the final selling price to ebay (in addition to your initial listing fee). So say you have an item you think is worth $100...you list it at $10 (that costs you 70 cents)....it goes for the $100..yeah...so that costs you another $3.50 to ebay. So it cost you $4.20 to sell a $100 item....nice profit yes? Now of course this all depends on how much you paid for that $100 item....but if it's been sitting around you house forever unused...it's really all profit, right? I've sold so much around the house my husband is going to start nailing stuff to the floor just to hang on to it :lol: And people will buy ANYTHING. I don't know if you all heard about this, but a woman in Colorado was selling snow from the blizzard. She was selling it in ten lots. She got $30 per lot.....$300.00 for snow from her back yard?!?!?!
