Good Monday morning all! I spent the morning in the basement, bagging,bundling,boxing and pitching junk. Aaaaghh! I swear the junk fairies come at night and bring more stuff in, we certainly didn't accumulate all that "stuff" ,did we? Tomorrow morning I'll start the actual cleaning-not my favorite job,but it has to be done before the spiders get too comfortable down there. Hope everyone has a good day. Lou

Hello everyone! I got my laptop back from the repair shop today (again) and instead of the whole laptops main blah breaking down and the laptop being dead, it turned out the battery was put in wonky :laugh: Apart from that, no news to report!

I love the summer!! Warm weather finally appears to be here for awhile. LWL-You have your hands full! It's funny how Lou just got rid of all her munchkins and the number of yours has increased. I guess one womans vacation is indeed another womans work! I hope Rosered is able to use some of your wonderful ideas. LIC- :bleh: Goof! Lou- Have fun cleaning!! DS-What new course are you taking? Math, English, Politics, Pe, RMPS! I hate maths but it's useful so i decided to go for something that will help in the future when applying for university! But it's sooooooo boring!

Hi all :hi: Was actually able to get some puter time. The weather here in Central Montana is of course windy and warm and dry. The wheat in my back yard is about knee high.Could use some rain. Yes I live right next to a HUGE wheat field. Its not my wheat field. It is home to many interesting animals mice (oh I hate mice yuck!) They come to visit more often than I would like. So we have been setting out the traps ect to keep us healthy and them at bay. We have a mangy skunk who comes to visit every so often. Srayed the poor dog next door. PEW.... The boys saw a fox one day. Lots of Canada geese and also a heard of deer that comes out early in the morning. oh Cant forget the gophers. LNB- how true it is, but I do LOVE my job. The kids are great! :wub: Summer will go by fast. Which will be the pits :cry: I signed up the older kids (3 and up) for the summer reading program at the library. The ones who cant read yet get credit for being read to. They get tokens for every 100 pages or 1 hour being read to. Than the library offers prizes for tokens. Nice program. We decorated our own tote bags for our books with names ect... to transport the library books to and from. I think everyone had fun. Even the boys hehehe Sounds like everyone is having a great summer. Thats all for now post with you all later. :geeky:

Happy Lost day indeed! I watched my 2 weekly epis (over in the Season 1 topics) and hit 200 posts! :cheer: :excite: I dragged all that basement crap out to the curb. The garbage men will be cursing at me tomorrow morning for sure :laugh: LostwithLost I'm sure I don't need to tell you how important it is for you to keep those children reading.Televison and the computer age have done a major number on our children's ability and desire to read, and their lack of vocabulary is appalling.Having taught for many years I've seen the decline and it's truly frightening.Keep 'em reading! Lou- I couldnt agree with you more. :) It did rain today shouldnt have spoke so soon reguarding the dry. Getting ready for a yard sale and it RAINED on my stuff :cry: I have the flame going at both ends my days are full for kids my evenings are full of sorting through junk.
